I just discovered a possile meaning of my family name : Van Imschoot
Himschoot, (van) Imschoot, Hemschoote, Van Nienschoot
They are family names named by a place called Himschoot.
In 1355 it was called Hemschencoet, now it’s a street called Hemelse schoot at Eksaarde (Belgium, between Gent and St-Niklaas)
